A round of applause for our Bronze DofE students who completed their expedition at the weekend in the blistering heat!
Twenty five students from Years 9, 10 and 11 hiked for twelve miles as part of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award over two days from Pinchinthorpe to Commondale campsite for an overnight camp and then on to Danby the next day.
The group showed great initiative in preparing for the expedition, ensuring all necessary equipment was packed and food supplies were adequately planned. They demonstrated a clear understanding of the importance of organisation, which contributed to the overall success and smooth execution of the expedition. We witnessed excellent teamwork, resilience and communication skills. Everyone had great fun and achieved something fantastic! We are proud of every single one of them
